Social Cohesion: A Conceptual Framework

چکیده
Sosyal uyum en genel anlamıyla insanların birlikte yaşadıkları topluluklar için nasıl hissettikleri, birbirlerine saygı gösterip göstermedikleri, güvenli ve içten bir çevrede yaşadıklarını ne düzeyde hissettikleri üzerinden değerlendirilmektedir. Bununla birlikte, sosyal uyumun literatürde daha çok işlevsel hedeflerle hatalı olarak kullanıldığı, nadiren tanımlandığı, kavramın açıklıktan netlikten uzak kaldığı anlaşılmaktadır. Bu noktadan hareketle bu çalışmada kavramını ele almak okuyucular, araştırmacılar saha çalışanları kavramsal çerçeve oluşturmak amaçlanmıştır. Çalışma sonucunda kavramı (1) ayrışmalardan doğan tehditlerle mücadele (2) ilişkilerin sermayenin güçlendirilmesi biçiminde iki boyutta alınmıştır. Birincisi (i) zenofobiaya karşı duruş, (ii) ayrımcılığın (iii) dışlanmanın önlenmesi; ikincisi ise (iv) temasın arttırılması, (v) mesafenin azaltılması (vi) somutlaştırılmıştır. altı olgu aynı zamanda temel göstergeleri değerlendirilmiştir.
